ULTRA-LATH® Installation Instructions

Product Description:
ULTRA-LATH, the heavy-duty, non-rusting alternative to galvanized metal lath is safe and easy to use, and impervious to both harsh chemicals found in cement base products and moisture. Sand won't effect its performance and it won't rust. Self-furred for positive keying of stucco, it lowers installed costs, cuts with a utility knife, and is easy to transport to the jobsite. Applicators love handling it, no cuts, no scrapes, no torn clothing! ULTRA-LATH is made with polyethylene (like your milk cartons), so it's safe to handle. See SBCCI report #94182. Meets ASTM 330.84 and ASTM 330.84b.

Basic Use:
As an alternative to metal lath. USE ONLY FOR A VERTICAL STUCCO APPLICATION. Ideal for countertop installations and a superior alternative for use as an underlayment for tile and marble floors. Designed for applications on type 6 exterior walls, which are not required to be fire resistance rated. DO NOT USE for soffits or horizontal applications.

Installation:
Install ULTRA-LATH with the ribbed/self-furred side towards the substrate and the smooth side facing the front. ULTRA-LATH shall be installed in accordance with ASTM C1063 and industry standards. Refer to SBCCI report #94182 for additional information.

Weather Resistance:
ULTRA-LATH should remain wrapped or stored under cover.
